How It Works
DHI stands for Direct Hair Implantation. Follicles are extracted one at a time from the donor area, usually the back and sides of the scalp, then loaded directly into a Choi implanter pen and placed into the recipient area in a single motion. This removes the step where follicles sit outside the body waiting to be implanted, which is where graft survival tends to drop in older methods.
