In Short
  • Everything on this website is general information about skin and hair treatments. It is not a diagnosis, and reading it does not make you our patient.
  • The AI assistant on this website is an automated tool. It cannot examine you, cannot diagnose, and is not monitored by a doctor in real time.
  • Treatment only begins after an in-person consultation with Dr. Rizwana Hanif, and results differ from person to person. Nobody can promise you a specific outcome.
  • Booking through WhatsApp means your message passes through WhatsApp's own service, which we do not control.
  • If you have a medical emergency, go to a hospital. Do not use this website, WhatsApp, or the AI assistant.

Who We Are

Skinology Laser & Aesthetics is a dermatology and aesthetic clinic at Building 44-E, Aziz Bhatti Road, Saddar, Multan Cantt, Punjab, Pakistan. "We", "us", "our" and "Skinology" mean Skinology Laser & Aesthetics. "You" means anyone using this website or our services.

We are registered with the Punjab Healthcare Commission, Reg. No. R-97655, as Skinology Poly Clinic. Clinical services are provided by Dr. Rizwana Hanif, registered with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.

These terms apply to skinology.pk, its AI assistant and booking tools, and any enquiry you send us through it.

Accepting These Terms

By using skinology.pk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or its services.

Your agreement is given electronically under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, 2002. Using the website after we update these terms means you accept the update.

Any treatment you receive is also governed by the consent form you sign beforehand. Where the two differ on a clinical matter, the signed consent form applies.

Website Content Is Not Medical Advice

Everything on skinology.pk — treatment pages, blog articles, FAQs, before-and-after material — is general information. It is not a diagnosis, prescription, or treatment plan for you.

Reading this website, messaging us, or using the AI assistant does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That begins only at an in-person consultation, when Dr. Rizwana Hanif assesses you directly.

Similar-looking skin and hair conditions can have very different causes, which only an examination can tell apart. We do not diagnose remotely.

Emergencies. For a severe allergic reaction, difficulty breathing, spreading infection, heavy bleeding, or any urgent medical problem, go to the nearest hospital. Do not wait for a reply from this website, WhatsApp, or the AI assistant.

The AI Assistant on This Website

This website offers an AI assistant for general questions about our treatments, timings and location. Here is what it is, and how to use it safely.

What it is

  • An automated tool built on a third-party language model. Not a doctor, nurse, or staff member.
  • Cannot see, examine, or assess you or any photograph.
  • Cannot diagnose a condition, recommend a treatment, prescribe medicine, or confirm a procedure is safe for you.
  • Answers are automated and may be wrong. No one at the clinic reviews them first.
  • Conversations are not monitored in real time and do not reach a doctor.

How to use it safely

  • Use it for general questions: treatments, timings, location, how to book.
  • Bring clinical questions to your consultation, not the assistant.
  • Never send it your CNIC, medical records, test results, card details, or photos of a condition.
  • Never use it in an emergency.

What you type is processed by a third-party service and is not treated as a confidential medical record. We may change or disable the assistant at any time.

WhatsApp and Messaging

Our booking buttons open a WhatsApp conversation, sometimes with a message pre-written for you. Sending it is your choice, and you may edit it first.

WhatsApp is a third party. Your message, number and profile pass through WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, not ours.

Our WhatsApp line handles enquiries and bookings only. We do not diagnose, assess a photograph, or give treatment instructions there.

We reply during clinic hours. A delivered message is not a confirmed appointment until we confirm it.

Consultations and Appointments

All treatment begins with an in-person consultation. Dr. Rizwana Hanif assesses your skin or scalp, reviews your history and medication, and explains suitable options, risks, and likely number of sessions.

Laser and energy-based treatments require a Fitzpatrick skin type assessment and may need a patch test before your first session. We do not proceed without it where advised.

  • Arrive on time. Arriving late may shorten or reschedule your session, since slots are booked back to back.
  • Cancel or reschedule with at least CONFIRM: notice period, e.g. 24 hours notice by phone or WhatsApp.
  • Deposit and no-show policy: CONFIRM: deposit and no-show policy, or delete this line if you have none

We may reschedule your appointment for a clinical emergency, equipment servicing, or staff illness, and will offer the next available slot.

Treatment Results

Results vary by condition, skin type, age, hormones, medication, and aftercare. No outcome can be predicted in advance.

  • We do not guarantee any specific result.
  • Any timeline or session estimate is clinical judgement, not a commitment.
  • Before-and-after images show that patient's result only, not a prediction of yours.
  • Some treatments involve normal recovery — redness, swelling, scabbing, or shedding — explained before you consent.

Following aftercare, including sun protection, is part of the treatment. We are not responsible for a result affected by aftercare not being followed.

Who We Can Treat

You must be 18 or older to book. Under-18 patients may be treated only with a parent or guardian present at consultation, consenting, and reachable throughout treatment.

Some treatments are unsuitable during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or with certain medicines or conditions. Tell us about any medical condition, medication, allergy, recent procedure, or history of keloid scarring or cold sores before treatment begins.

We rely on the information you give us. Incomplete or inaccurate information affects your treatment plan, and we are not responsible for a resulting complication.

Dr. Rizwana Hanif may decline a treatment that is not clinically suitable. This decision is final.

Fees and Payments

All fees are quoted and payable in Pakistani Rupees (PKR), confirmed at your consultation once we know what your case needs. We do not give binding prices by phone, WhatsApp, or the AI assistant.

Any price shown on this website or in a promotion is indicative and may change. Only the price confirmed in writing at your consultation applies.

Payment is due CONFIRM: when payment is due, e.g. on the day of each session. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card.

Fees for sessions already performed are non-refundable. Where you have paid in advance for a package of sessions and stop the course, any unused sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Photographs and Consent

We take clinical photographs during treatment as part of your medical record, kept confidentially with your file.

Using your photographs elsewhere — this website, social media, printed material — requires your separate, voluntary written consent. Declining has no effect on your treatment or its price.

Where we use a patient's images publicly, we ask for that consent first, and mostly blur or crop identifying features to protect their identity.

You may withdraw consent at any time. We will stop using the images and remove them from material we control, though we cannot recall copies already shared by others.

Acceptable Use of This Website

By using skinology.pk, you agree that you will not:

  • copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the material or software on this website;
  • remove any copyright or ownership notice from our material;
  • republish or mirror our material on another server or website;
  • use the website, the AI assistant, or our WhatsApp line in a way that disrupts, overloads, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
  • send or publish anything through our website or messaging channels that is harassing, indecent, obscene, defamatory, fraudulent, or unlawful;
  • use the website to send spam or unsolicited advertising;
  • collect or harvest data about other users; or
  • impersonate the clinic, Dr. Rizwana Hanif, or any member of our staff, anywhere.

Unauthorised access to or interference with our systems may be an offence under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and we will report it where appropriate.

Intellectual Property

The text, photographs, treatment descriptions, graphics, logo and design of this website belong to or are licensed to Skinology and are protected under Pakistani copyright and trademark law.

You may view the website and print one copy for personal, non-commercial use. This is a limited licence, not ownership, and ends if you breach these terms.

Our content, photographs, or clinic material may not be reproduced elsewhere — another clinic's website, advertising, print — without our written permission.

Accuracy of Materials

We keep this website accurate and current, but medical practice changes, and content may become outdated between reviews. Where a page differs from the advice given at your consultation, the consultation advice applies.

Liability

This website and its materials are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its materials — including loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, or data — whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, and even if we were told such loss was possible.

Nothing in these terms limits our clinical responsibility to you. Our duty of care as your treating clinic, and our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, are not excluded or limited by this clause or by any other part of these terms. Those responsibilities are governed by Pakistani law and by the standards of the Punjab Healthcare Commission and the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.

Some limitations of liability are not permitted under Pakistani law. Where that is the case, the limitation above does not apply to you.

Privacy

How we collect, use and protect your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your medical records are confidential. We do not share them outside your care without your consent, except where the law or a regulator requires it.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of your treatment or experience, tell us first and we will look into it and respond.

As a PHC-registered establishment, we are also subject to its complaints process. You may take an unresolved complaint to the Commission directly.

Changes to These Terms

We may amend these terms at any time. The "last updated" date at the top will change, and the update takes effect from that date. Continuing to use the website afterward means you accept it.

Suspending Access

We may suspend or end your access to this website, the AI assistant, or our messaging channels immediately, on notice, if you breach these terms.

Severance

If any part of these terms is found to be void or unenforceable, that part is severed to the extent of the problem. The rest of these terms continues to apply.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Multan, Punjab, Pakistan, for any dispute arising from these terms, this website, or our services.
