Selected areas of facial volume loss.
Anti-Aging / Dermal
Dermal fillers can restore selected areas of lost facial volume, soften certain lines and improve facial balance without surgery. At Skinology Laser & Aesthetics, treatment starts with an assessment of your facial anatomy, concerns and medical history — we focus on choosing the right product and amount, not adding volume everywhere.

What Is It?
A hyaluronic acid dermal filler is a gel made with a substance that naturally occurs in the body. Different HA gels have different properties, so a product suitable for the lips may not suit deeper facial support. Many HA fillers can be broken down using hyaluronidase when clinically indicated — though dissolving filler has its own risks and does not make an injection risk-free.
Treatment Areas
Different facial areas require different assessment. Your clinician considers facial movement, existing volume, skin quality, previous filler and nearby blood vessels before recommending an injection.
Some lip fillers can enhance certain problems related to volume, contour, and symmetry, without the need to create bigger lips; only working on your current lip contour. There might be some temporary swelling, which gives the lips a fuller appearance right away.
The fillers used in the cheeks will help you to regain your desired face volume and help in supporting the structure of your face, eliminating any shadows or folds near that area. It all depends on your current cheek projection; too much of anything could look unnatural.
The filler in the jaw region is able to change the contours in a way that benefits selected areas, while chin filler can be used to create harmony in the lower part of the face. The jawline definition fillers will only be effective when the right anatomy exists.
Gentle exfoliation removes dead surface cells for a more even-looking finish.
Fillers may soften selected nasolabial folds when volume loss contributes to their appearance. Your clinician assesses the surrounding facial structure rather than treating every visible line in isolation.
Injection of fillers in the nose should not be considered a safe substitute for rhinoplasty surgery. There are connections within the nose with the vascular system, making an accidental entry of filler into the blood vessels very risky, leading to possible damage to the skin and even loss of vision.
Benefits & Limitations
When clinically appropriate, fillers may help. Results depend on your anatomy, product, treatment area and individual response and more filler does not necessarily produce a better result.

Real Results
However, most fillers for volume cause an observable effect immediately after the procedure, but swelling, bruising, and sensitivity may temporarily affect the appearance of the area. The final outcome is to be evaluated once the temporary reaction subsides, as there may be individual variations in the outcomes, and further treatment is based on an evaluation of the existing filler.

Why Skinology

FAQs
Our specialists are ready to answer your questions and guide you.
Injectable materials used to add selected facial volume, improve contours and soften certain folds or hollows. Different products have different properties.
They restore lost volume or alter selected contours. Results depend on area, product and anatomy — they don’t treat every wrinkle or replace a surgical lift.
You may feel pressure, stinging or discomfort. Some products contain lidocaine. Experiences vary — treatment is not completely painless.
A trained clinician assesses your mid-face anatomy, then chooses the product and injection approach. This is a medical procedure, never self-injected.
Most HA facial fillers are not marketed as permanent, though they can persist longer than expected. Ask which specific product is proposed for you.
Nose filler is a higher-risk procedure due to its vascular anatomy, with rare complications including skin injury and vision loss. It is never risk-free.
