Hair transplant assessments take place in our consultation room in Saddar, Multan Cantt.

Quick answer: Hair transplant cost in Multan depends mostly on how many grafts you need, the technique, who operates, and what the quote includes. Published estimates are wide, commonly from about PKR 50,000 to PKR 250,000, and higher for large cases. That is not a Skinology price list. A reliable figure only comes after a hair and scalp assessment.

Hair loss often starts quietly: a receding hairline, a thinner crown, more scalp showing in photographs. Then you start comparing clinics, and the quotes make no sense. One clinic says PKR 60,000, another says PKR 200,000. What is actually different?

This guide explains what drives the price, how grafts are counted, how FUE, Sapphire FUE and DHI differ, and what to ask before you book.

How much does a hair transplant cost in Multan in 2026?

Advertised estimates vary a lot. Public listings for Pakistan commonly show a wide band, roughly PKR 50,000 to PKR 250,000, with extensive or complex cases costing more. Treat this as a rough guide only. It is not a verified market average.

The price depends on five things: the number of grafts, the quality of your donor hair, the technique, the clinician and team involved, and what is included, such as medicines and follow-up.

What does a hair transplant cost at Skinology?

At Skinology, pricing starts at PKR 60 per graft. That means PKR 60,000 for 1,000 grafts and PKR 180,000 for 3,000 grafts. Larger sessions cost more in proportion, and the technique you need can affect the price. You receive a quotation after your assessment, so you know what is included.

How many grafts might you need?

A graft is a follicular unit that holds one or more hairs. Grafts and individual hairs are not the same thing, so compare quotes by graft count, not hair count.

Hair loss concernBroad graft estimate
Minor hairline correction500 to 1,000
Receding frontal hairline1,000 to 1,800
Moderate frontal thinning1,500 to 2,500
Crown thinning1,000 to 2,000
Frontal and crown restoration2,500 to 3,500
Extensive baldness3,500 to 5,000+, only if donor supply allows

These are teaching examples, not prescribed counts. Hair thickness, the coverage you want, existing density and donor reserve all change the plan. Taking too many grafts can permanently thin the donor area.

How does per-graft pricing work?

Some clinics charge a fixed package. Others charge per graft. To show the arithmetic only, the table uses an illustrative rate of PKR 60 per graft. It is not a Skinology quotation or a confirmed local rate.

GraftsAt an illustrative PKR 60 per graft
1,000PKR 60,000
1,500PKR 90,000
2,000PKR 120,000
2,500PKR 150,000
3,000PKR 180,000
3,500PKR 210,000

Always ask whether the quote includes the assessment, anaesthesia, medicines, dressings, aftercare, follow-up visits and any taxes.

FUE, Sapphire FUE or DHI: what are you paying for?

FUE removes individual follicular units from the donor area and implants them where you are thinning. It avoids the linear scar of strip surgery (FUT), though small extraction marks remain possible. Our FUE hair transplant page explains the procedure.

Sapphire FUE means sapphire blades are used to make the recipient sites. It can add to the price, but the blade alone does not prove better survival, density or healing. Ask why it is recommended for you.

DHI uses an implanter pen to place grafts. The workflow can raise the cost, and it is not automatically better for every patient.

The question to ask is not which technique has the most expensive name. Ask which approach suits your donor area, hair-loss pattern and long-term goals.

Why can one hair transplant cost more than another?

  • Hairline design. Age, face shape, hair direction, density and expected future loss all matter. A hairline that is too low or too dense can use up donor hair you will need later.
  • Donor care. Donor hair is limited. How grafts are harvested, stored and placed affects safety and quality.
  • Medical oversight. A transplant is surgery. The surgeon’s qualifications, infection prevention, anaesthesia safety, consent and follow-up belong in the price, not as extras.

Is a cheaper transplant always a bad idea?

No. Price alone does not decide quality. But very low prices and “unlimited grafts” ads deserve questions:

  • Who performs the extraction, the recipient sites and the implantation?
  • What are their credentials and relevant experience?
  • How was my graft count worked out, and is it safe for my donor area?
  • What exactly is included in the price?
  • What complications are possible, and who handles them?
  • Can I see genuine, consented results from patients with similar hair loss?

Do you need surgery at all?

Not everyone who is shedding needs a transplant. Causes include pattern hair loss, nutrition or hormones, scalp disease and temporary shedding. An assessment may lead to medical treatment, tests, selected non-surgical procedures or surgery. A transplant moves existing follicles. It does not stop untreated hair from thinning later. See our hair restoration options.

Are hair transplant results permanent?

Many transplanted follicles keep growing hair for years, but no clinic can promise every graft will survive. Hair you did not transplant may keep thinning, so ongoing medical care or a further procedure is sometimes appropriate.

What is recovery like?

TimeWhat to expect
Days 7 to 14Scabbing, redness and early healing
Weeks 2 to 8Transplanted hair shafts shed temporarily
Months 3 to 4Early new growth may begin
Months 5 to 6Coverage gradually improves
Months 6 to 9More length and density
Months 9 to 12More mature results
Months 12 to 18Further maturing, especially for some crown cases

Healing varies by person. Your surgical team should give you personal aftercare instructions.

What should you know about risks?

Like any surgery, a hair transplant carries risks, such as infection, temporary shedding, uneven density or grafts that do not grow. Your surgeon should explain these before you consent. At Skinology, the follow-up visits and the helpline are there to catch problems early.

What should a hair transplant quotation in Multan include?

  • A written graft count and how it was decided
  • The technique and who performs each step
  • Anaesthesia, medicines and dressings
  • Follow-up visits and aftercare
  • Any taxes or extra charges
  • Whether a second session might be needed

Travelling to Multan for a transplant?

Many patients come from Khanewal, Vehari, Layyah, Shujabad and Dera Ghazi Khan, as well as from DHA Multan, Buch Villas, Model Town and Multan Cantt. The surgery is a day procedure and no overnight stay is required. Early follow-up visits fall on days 2 and 3, so ask us how to plan if you live outside Multan.

Why start with an assessment at Skinology?

At Skinology Laser & Aesthetics in Saddar, Multan Cantt, the first step is to understand the type and progression of your hair loss, your scalp health, your donor reserve and your realistic options. That tells us whether medical treatment or a transplant fits, and what a personal plan involves.

A proper assessment explains the benefits and the limits, not just a package price.

What is the average hair transplant price in Multan?

Advertised prices vary widely, from roughly PKR 50,000 to PKR 250,000 or more. That is a broad indication, not a verified average or a Skinology tariff.

At an illustrative PKR 60 per graft, the arithmetic is PKR 120,000 before extra charges. Real quotations differ.

Not universally. The blade material alone does not decide the result.

Neither is automatically better. It depends on your case and the surgical approach.

Possibly, but donor supply limits what is achievable, and full coverage may not be realistic.

Not routinely. It may be discussed for selected cases, but it is not a guaranteed way to improve graft survival.

Book a hair and scalp assessment so graft needs, alternatives and costs can be discussed.
